The Dunmow U3A branch launched in October 2015 and is open to all. U3As are self-help, self-managed, lifelong learning co-operatives for people in their third age and no longer in full time work. It provide opportunities for members to share learning experiences to a wide range of interest groups and to pursue learning, not for qualifications but for fun.

Our aim at Great Dunmow Primary School is to ensure that all children and staff who attend are able to work and learn in a safe, secure and happy environment. It is our intention that every member of the school community should have the best possible opportunity to enable them to develop the skills and attitudes which they will need for the rest of their lives.

Welcome to Helena Romanes (Foundation) School & Sixth Form Centre in Great Dunmow, catering for pupils between the ages of 11 and 18.

This website has been designed to give visitors an insight into life at our school as well as providing an online resource for parents looking for information and forms previously only available from the school office. It is a primary school which admits children from aged 4 to 11.

The School was founded in 1989 to provide a Christian education, fostering Christian faith and values, to children aged 4-16 who are taught in class sizes of up to 10. The school includes families from a wide geographical area and many different churches. We are a registered charity and a fee-paying school, with a single child or family fee structure to help make the school accessible.
