The Dunmow Art Group was founded in 1971 by a group of local people interested in painting and drawing. Membership is open to all persons interested in Fine Art and the group has held an annual Exhibition and Sale of members' work since 1975.

Dunmow-based theatrical society thrilling and entertaining audiences since 1921 with over 80 different productions. For nearly a century we have tackled all the big West End shows of the day. So come and support us by watching an up and coming show or join in the fun and become a member.

We are a fun relaxed concert band who enjoy playing a wide range of music and all new members are welcome so feel free to come along to a rehearsal to see what we are all about. We rehearse on Monday nights from 7pm in Foakes Hall, Stortford Road, Dunmow.

The Internet Movie Database is a HUGE collection of movie information. We try to catalog every pertinent detail about a movie, from who was in it, to who made it, to trivia about it and even where you can find reviews and fan sites on the web. We then do our best to present this information in a manner that is easy to search and access.
|› Scene II Theatre School|
The Scene II Theatre School is open 7 days a week, offering all aspects of the performing arts For all ages, from private singing to drama and musical theatre, jazz dance and audition technique and loads more. We start at 3 years old and offer classes right through to adults. We also host lots of holiday workshops and activities.

Dunmow's local radio station - listen online from their website. Although Switch is a Community Radio Station, all the presenters love the idea of reaching further afield. Switch Dunmow has a show for everyone, with easy listening throughout the day and live shows from 6pm. If you are interested in joining us a volunteer do get in touch!
|› Take Note Essex|
Take Note is a new and exciting concert band based in Great Dunmow, Essex. Formed of members who get together over their love and true enjoyment of music. This band is lively, energetic and fun.
|› Talking Newspaper|
We take the local news from editions of the Herts & Essex Observer newspaper and send a recording to visually impaired people who want to keep in touch with local news. This means that there have been more than 1,500 weekly recordings of our Talking Newspaper so far. Our focus is on Bishop's Stortford, Sawbridgeworth, Dunmow, Saffron Walden and the nearby villages.
|› Woodwind of Dunmow|
Woodwind of Dunmow is a group of musicians who came together in 2008 under the leadership of ex-military man and clarinettist Fred Payne. The group is now led by Jerome Cacace and plays a range of tunes and styles, ranging from the original marches we did at the start to popular songs and theme tunes along with some ragtime and jazzy numbers.
